WHAT IS A FORUM?
Within Federica courses, you can find the forum tool, which allows you to discuss specific topics with the instructor/tutor or other students.
In many cases, the course discussion forum is located in the course abstract section, labelled "Discussion Forum".
However, in some courses, discussion forums are placed within individual lessons, typically at the end of each lesson.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN A FORUM
You can interact in a forum by replying to existing discussions or creating a new topic of discussion.
To start a new discussion topic, click "Add discussion topic".
Enter a title in the subject line and your message, then click "Post to forum" to make your post visible to other students.
To join an existing discussion or comment on another student's post, open the topic and click "Reply."
SUBSCRIPTION AND UNSUBSCRIPTION
To follow all discussions in a forum, click "Subscribe to forum". This will allow you to receive notifications of new discussions or comments by email or directly on the platform.
If you wish to stop receiving notifications, click "Unsubscribe from forum", and you will no longer receive emails or alerts.
You can also choose to follow only individual discussion topics by activating or deactivating subscriptions for each post in the "Subscribe" column.
